John’s Cereal Crunchies

John’s Cereal Crunchies

Makes about 80 biscuits


  • 250 gr Salted Butter
  • 250 ml White Sugar
  • 2 Whole Eggs
  • 5 ml Vanilla Essence
  • 500 ml Jungle Oats
  • 10 ml Baking Powder
  • 7.5 ml Bicarbonate of soda
  • 500 ml Cake Flour
  • 500 ml Desiccated Coconut
  • 500 ml All Bran


  1. Cream the butter and sugar together.
  2. Add the eggs and vanilla essence.
  3. Mix in the remaining ingredients well.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls and place onto greased baking trays.
  5. Flatten them with a fork.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes in a pre-heated oven of 180⁰C. When baked removed from the tray and place onto a cooling rack to cool. Store in airtight containers.
