Naartjie Rooibos

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ c boiling water
  • 2 rooibos teabags
  • ½ c fresh naartjie juice warmed (optional)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 star anise

Serve with 

  • Honey
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Sliced naartjies

Method 

  1. Bring the water to the boil and steep the tea until desired strength.
  2. Add the warmed juice if using and stir.
  3. Add cinnamon and star anise.
  4. Add honey, mint leaves and naartjie slices and serve warm immediately.
